On December 2, YG Entertainment released a video called “TREASURE NEWS & 2025 YG PLAN | YG Announcement,” presented by the company’s General Producer, Yang Hyun-suk. The video offered a glimpse into the future activities of several YG artists, with particular emphasis on TREASURE, as well as plans for other popular groups like BLACKPINK, WINNER, and BABYMONSTER.
For the first two minutes of the video, Yang Hyun-suk talked about TREASURE’s plans, which include a world tour, new music, and changes in leadership within the group.
In the next 20 seconds, the plans for other artists were briefly mentioned.
Here, Yang Hyun-suk said that BABYMONSTER and AKMU will be involved in “many activities,” while WINNER will be going on tour next year.

He also mentioned that BLACKPINK will be starting their world tour next year, which had already been announced earlier. In addition, YG revealed that multiple trainees are preparing for their debut, though specific dates and details will be revealed at a later time.
Despite the exciting announcements, many netizens voiced frustration over the lack of concrete information, especially regarding groups other than TREASURE. While TREASURE received clear details about their upcoming schedule, other YG artists, including the highly anticipated rookie group BABYMONSTER, were mentioned only briefly without any specific plans.
- Baemon (BABYMONSTER), please give us more great songs, not just something average… We know you’re talented, but the songs don’t quite live up to expectations.
- WINNER is going on tour? Without a full album? Please release a full album before you go.
- Can “hope” really be considered a plan? LOL. Seriously, you’re the official source, so why call it “hope” instead of a real plan?
- Don’t believe it if YG says, “It’s coming soon.” Don’t fall for it. Everyone knows this company loves to hype things up.
- YG really needs to change its leadership.
- Why did WINNER even renew their contracts? Two of them are producers, yet they’re in a company where they barely release new music, one song a year. Other artists release songs even during their military service.
- Is this a plan from a neighborhood convenience store? There’s no solid plan, and yet they’re talking about a 2025 roadmap that’s going nowhere.
